Major Responsibilities:

• You will work as a part of our product team to deliver features written in Ruby

• Coordinate with BA, UX, Design, and QA to deliver user stories

• Take ownership of a user story from requirements till delivery

• Working in a high-performance team environment

• Experience in code reviews/pull requests

• Good knowledge of clean architecture and best engineering practices

Key Skills:
 

• Worked on multiple projects as Ruby on Rails Software Engineer

• Must have worked on large enterprise projects in big teams

• Strong Ruby on Rails experience (3 years min)

• Agile experience is essential

• TDD methodology

• Used practices and design patterns

• Experience in a production development environment

• Excellent communication skills

• Worked on personal projects in your spare time

• Ideally a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree with a concentration in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience

• Rails containerisation (Docker)

• AWS/Heroku Compute Technologies 

• Experience with TDD

• Experience performance optimising code for high volume traffic

• Previous experience with high volume applications
