This is a key opportunity for a senior or lead developer to participate in roadmap-building and execution of a strong long-reaching strategic vision from the ground level. 

This role is may, from time to time, be involved in stakeholder discussions (both internal and external) as well as globally dispersed technology teams to create solution designs based on customer business requirements.

Key Responsibilities Include
 

• Consult with and articulate architectural design and patterns to stakeholders (both internal and external)

• Hands-on programming – implement architectural designs, Backend engineering (full stack a plus) 

• Architect marketplace solutions within a public cloud environment (AWS)

• Collaborate with our product and engineering and business goals to provide input into the overall innovation and technical pipeline
   

About You - The ideal candidate possesses:

• A minimum of 5 years as a Senior or Lead Developer in a software product environment. Experience in an Architect role is advantageous.

• Demonstrable programming expertise in various programming languages, in particular: ASP, ASP.NET, SQL, C#, Javascript, .NET/Core MVC, Enterprise Framework, RESTful APIs, GraphQL
   

Hands-on Integration experience.

• Strong experience in AWS tools and services, Cloud architecture, refactoring applications to leverage cloud services, and optimise hosting and running costs of applications

• Cloud based DevOps (CI/CD) experience.

• Experience re-architecting software products and monolithic applications into modularised service-based architecture (advantageous). DDD, Event Driven, Microservice architecture design and development experience.

• Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to articulate architectural design and patterns to customers both internal and external.
